Why we Like this Horse

We really like this filly for her sharp, athletic profile and the exciting sprinting potential she offers.

Bivouac was crowned World Champion Sprinter and Champion Three-Year-Old, earning $5,969,110 in prizemoney and retiring as a six-time Group winner, including three at Group 1 level. He has made an excellent start at stud, already producing eight stakes winners from his first two crops, including Cavalry Girl, Actionbelle, Cellarmaster and our own Group 1 winner, Fireball Miss.

Ciaron has a very high opinion of the Bivouac stock, having enjoyed great success with Fireball Miss, as well as several other progressive horses including Exit, Benevac and Bivacco. That first-hand experience gives us plenty of confidence in what the sire is capable of producing.

This filly really caught our eye as she has the sharpness, athleticism and natural sprinting profile we look for. She is out of American Flyer, a winner herself over 1200m, by another proven speed influence in Starspangledbanner.

There is also plenty of quality further back in the family, which includes multiple stakes performers Eagle Way, Impressive Eagle, Assertive Eagle and Soaressa.

For us, she looks like the type of filly who has the speed, athleticism and precocity to make her mark as a sprinter, with a pedigree that supports that profile.
