This colt is sired by Hitotsu, a remarkable first-season champion who won the Group 1 VRC Derby, AJC Derby, and Australian Guineas, marking the first such achievement since Mahogany in 1994.

Bel's In Charge is by Charge Forward, a notable broodmare sire with over 60% winners to runners and more than 30 stakes performers. This colt is also bred on a similar cross with the Group 3 winner Ethereum Girl (Maurice).

He made history as the first horse since the legendary Mahogany in 1994 to win the Group 1 Victoria Derby, Australian Guineas, and Australian Derby! As a son of Maurice and grandson of Redoute’s Choice, Hitotsu combines exceptional racetrack performance with a strong pedigree, positioning him as a promising sire for the future. His initial crop has already impressed our team, with his offspring consistently showcasing his strength, scope, and athleticism.

This colt is the first foal of Bel’s In Charge, a daughter of Charge Forward (Red Ransom), a highly regarded broodmare sire with over 60% winners to runners and more than 30 stakes performers. Charge Forward has produced top-class racehorses such as Sunlight, She Will Reign, and Libertad. Notably, this colt shares a similar pedigree cross with Group 3 winner Ethereum Girl (Maurice).

The pedigree page reveals even more depth and quality. The second dam, Belisama (Flying Spur), is a half-sister to the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes winner Furnaces, as well as Volcanic Rock and Scorched, the dam of stakes winner Scorched Earth!
