Hitotsu is one of our most celebrated racehorses, and we were eager to secure his progeny.

A genuine athlete, he captured the Group 1 Australian Guineas, Group 1 ATC Derby, and Group 1 VRC Derby, becoming the first horse since champion Mahogany in 1994 to complete the demanding Victoria Derby / Australian Guineas / Australian Derby treble. A standout son of Maurice and grandson of Arrowfield legend Redoute’s Choice, Hitotsu combines world-class speed, stamina, and toughness.

This colt is the first foal out of Jackrabbit Jimmy, by I Am Invincible, whose dam line offers both class and proven race performance. I Am Invincible as a broodmare sire is outstanding. I Am Invincible mares have produced 458 starters for 257 winners (56.1%), combining for 629 wins and 10 stakes winners! Notable colts out of 'Vinnie' mares include, Kuroyanagi and Grand Prairie.

‍Jackrabbit Jimmy is a half-sister to Singapore stakes winner Lim’s Ida – Invincible Tycoon, highlighting the family’s ability to produce top-level performers. Her dam, Tai Tai Tess, was a multiple stakes winner, capturing the SAJC Morphettville Guineas (Listed) and placing in multiple Group 3 races, demonstrating durability and consistency on the track. Tai Tai Tess is by Magic Albert out of Tycoon Tess, who stems from Arrowfield matriarch Arborea, a winner of the VRC Oaks (Group 1) and One Thousand Guineas (Group 1), making this colt a descendant of a family rich in classic distance performers and proven black-type success.
