Introducing Lot 116, a bay filly by the outstanding young sire Home Affairs. She is set to race in the famous and proven colours behind elite performers such as Jimmysstar, Gringotts, Coolangatta, Hitotsu, Light Infantry Man, and Spywire—a rare opportunity to race with a consistently successful partnership!

She is the first foal out of Shepherd’s Delight, a talented racemare who finished runner-up in the prestigious Group 1 New Zealand One Thousand Guineas.

Sired by Home Affairs, a dual Group 1-winning son of champion sire I Am Invincible, he is already making an impression with his first runners. His early progeny include Guest House, Inglis Nursery winner I’m Ya Huckleberry, and Gin Twist, who was placed in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Prelude.

Her dam, Shepherd’s Delight, is by Rip Van Winkle and comes from a family loaded with black-type talent. The granddam, Safari Sunset, is closely related to stakes winners such as Palette Natural and Win Practitioner, while the third dam, Proteaceae, hails from the renowned Zonda family. Notably, this family produced Dixie Blossoms, one of Australia’s elite mares, who won seven races including the Group 1 ATC Coolmore Classic, and earned over $1,500,000!

Physically, this filly is a standout type, She possesses a great equilateral hindquarter, along with low cannons and hocks, suggesting speed. Her exceptional depth of girth points to well-sized vitals, while her strong, powerful, and compact frame underscores her potential as a precocious filly.
