Written Tycoon has established himself as one of Australia’s champion stallions. He is responsible for over 80 stakes winners, including 18 Group 1 winners, and more than 1,000 individual winners!

Miss Iano was a tough and genuine performer, winning eight races from 1000m to 1200m and earning over $460,000 in prize money. She was stakes-placed, finishing third in the Begonia Belle Stakes, and was competitive at a high level throughout her career.

She has already made an immediate impact at stud. Her first foal to race, Tycoon Star, is a Group 3-winning two-year-old, successful in both the Maribyrnong Plate and HDF McNeil Stakes, and placed in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes—highlighting the precocity and class this family has already produced!

Physically, this colt is very much in that mould. He is an athletic, well-balanced individual with clean limbs, a strong hindquarter, and a fluent, free-moving walk. He has a quality head and great presence and gives every indication he will continue to furnish into a top quality racehorse. He looks like an early-running colt with the scope to improve with maturity.

The pedigree is deep and proven. He descends from the same family as Hidden Wonder, a nine-time winner of nearly $600,000 and a Listed winner, and a producer of multiple stakes performers including Strong Choice (Group 3 placed) and Substation (Listed placed).
